Tommy Thompson served as the 19th United States secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) from 2001 to 2005 in the cabinet of President George W. Bush. Prior to leading HHS, Tommy served as the 42nd governor of Wisconsin from 1987 to 2001. 


Thompson is the longest-serving governor in Wisconsin history and is the only person to be elected to the office four times.

As HHS secretary, Tommy led the administration’s successful passage and implementation of the Medicare prescription drug benefit for America’s seniors. He led the effort to reinvigorate the nation’s public health infrastructure by providing states and communities the resources they need to respond to terrorist attacks or other public health emergencies.


From 2003 to 2005, Tommy served as chairman of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.  

Throughout his career, Tommy served in numerous leadership positions, including chair of Amtrak  Wikipedia   National Governors Association  and chairman of various organizations such as the National Governors Association (1995-1996), the Republican Governors Association, and the Council of Great Lakes Governors.

Bill Jackson brings to Vector over 25 years of medical device industry experience as an entrepreneur and C-suite executive specializing in building, growing, and successfully exiting healthcare businesses. 


Bill’s proven track record includes co-founding Attwill Medical Solutions and CEO of Attwill Vascular Technologies, a leader in US contract lyophilization, co-founding Preferred Medical Products (sold to Ballard Medical/Tyco) and co-founding TSX-V listed Covalon Technologies, where he served as CFO, COO, and audit committee chair for six years. He participated in forming Synergist CPC for the RTO that became Titan Medical.

His industry foundation includes top-10 worldwide producer roles at medical device leaders Karl Storz and Stryker, and he currently serves as Director on CSE-listed Revive Therapeutics Inc.’s board.

Tabitha Hendren brings over four years of specialized biomedical engineering experience in medical device development and clinical research to Vector Science & Therapeutics, where she leads product development initiatives and oversees engineering functions for the company’s transdermal drug delivery platforms. Prior to joining Vector, Tabitha served as a Biomedical Engineer at ZetrOZ Systems, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership across manufacturing operations, clinical research, and product management.


Tabitha holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan. During her academic career, she served as Graduate Student Instructor and Biomedical Laboratory Director, developing curriculum materials and managing laboratory operations for the biomedical engineering undergraduate program.


Her expertise spans biomechanics, biomaterials, medical imaging, and cross-functional team leadership, with a particular strength in translating research insights into practical healthcare solutions.
